Mrs. Stephanie's Storybook Sketchers // Grades Kinder - 1st

Welcome to “Storybook Sketchers” with Mrs. Stephanie! This class will introduce your students to a wide range of amazing story books by talented authors and illustrators. Some stories will be familiar classics, while others will hopefully become new favorites. Many would consider picture books to be primarily for children, however, a thoughtful picture book can be enjoyed by all ages. That is how stories become timeless tales.

During this class I will share stories that have captivating story-lines, memorable characters, and age appropriate themes. We'll have discussions about the stories and then create an art project based on the story. This class is designed to promote the love of reading, storytelling, and creativity. I look forward to having your students join this special summer art class with me!
